About the waterproof BioThane© material
BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s a polyester webbing with a TPU/PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and remains always odour-free.

The material is very durable and strong with an average breaking strength of around 340kg. The ideal material for any active pup, especially if your dog likes a swim or gets very dirty during their walks, simply wipe it clean afterwards and it will be as good as new.

HARDWARE:
High quality hardware clasps and fastenings, made from colour coated zinc. The clasps are although durable, not rust or chip resistant. The product is fine to be used for playing in rivers, puddles and regular waters, but like most metals don’t like sea water.
